What is a POP Email Program?

POP stands for Post Office Protocol. They are usually applications you download and install. Many e-mail programs can speak to POP; the best is probably Thunderbird.





Some Web mail clients (such as Yahoo!'s) will download mail from other POP servers, but will not allow you to access them via POP for free.
What is a POP Email Program?
POP is post office protocol used by email services to send and recieve mails. We are now mostly using pop3.
