Is there an email program (like Outlook) that can handle multiple accounts with an inbox for each ??

I have 4 email accounts and I use Outlook but I want to set it so when say mail comes in from account X it goes into accounts X mailbox and if it comes in for acccount Z it goes straight into account Z's mailbix and so on - can Outlook be set to do this or is there a better program out there that can do this ??

Yes, certainly. My favorite for PC is Thunderbird.
Reply:Yes, ofcourse you can set multiple accounts for their account mailboxes respectively. Here are the steps for it:

Configuring for 1 account (info@demo.com). Follow steps for all the accounts:

1. Create your mail accounts through Tools %26gt; Accounts %26gt; Mail (tab) %26gt; Add (button).

2. On Outlook Express window - on left - Right Click on the Inbox and Click New Folder.

3. Type the folder name: For Example: Info

4. Goto TOOLS %26gt; Message Rules %26gt; Mail

5. On Message Rules window Click New button on the right.

6. On first point "Select the Conditions for your rules" : Select "Where the To or CC line contains people"

7. On the second point "Select the Actions for your rule" : Select "Move it to the specified folder".

8. On the third point "Rule Description" : Click Contains People and type your email address (example: info@demo.com) and click the Add button on the select people window which is just opend after clicking the contains people. Then Click OK.

9. Now Click the Specified option on the same third point. And Select the folder (example: Info) which you have created into Inbox in the Move window and Click OK.

10. Click OK

11. Click OK again to finalize your complete settings.

12. Now you are ready to receive emails in their respective mailbox.

I hope, you got the best answer for the assignment you posted.

Reply:yes, if you have saperate ISP then.
Reply:I like Thunderbird. If ISP accounts you will probably have problems. If like gmail, yahoo which have pop download possibilities, then shouldn't be a problem
Reply:I've got 5 on Yahoo. No problem...just Do it.
Reply:I always use incredimail for all my e-mails....you can download it for free...In the tools menu there is am message rules option and there you can set up your mail to go to any folder you choose to set up.

Reply:Go to the "rules wizard" and set up a folder (like an inbox) for anything which has mail send "directly to" a specific address.

Alternatively ... have all mail auto-forwarded to 1 account and use the originating (i.e. forwarding) address for the rule..
