Unless you have applied for anything, or paid for ticket in a prize fund you can not win anything at all. No company will give anything away because you have received an email. If you remember this always you wont get scammed or get suckered into anything silly.





All emails like this sound very tempting but think and use common sense and however tempting the email sounds you won't get done.

Reply:I once received a mail from a spanish lottery company telling me I've won USD1.2 Million in the grand lottery draw. I called up the spanish embassy, and they told me there wasn't such a company in Spain, and it's probably a scam.


A week later, I read in our local paper that more than 20 people have been cheated of tens of thousands of dollars each by this company.


So, if you receive something that's too good to be true, be on your guard.
