Why do people use email programs instead of just using web based ones like gmail and yahoo? Isn't it better because you don't have to use up system power running a program, you can do it all from the web?
Why do people use email programs?
This kind of program could be usefull if you pay for the time that you stay online. Since you can download all mail messages you can view them offline and log off from your ISP and save some money. Specially if you receive many email messages. Otherwise you can view the messages online without much problem.
