Try downloading and installing win-rar. then once installed all you have to do is right click on the google earth.exe file and select add to archive and change the compression to best inside of the dialog that pops up. I wouldn't expect the file to get much smaller however as most exe file are pretty well compressed already. You can download winrar here http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Reply:Depending on what the file size limits are for both you and the receiver, you might not be able to send the program via email. Usually the limits are 6MB.
Why don't you have your friend download the program?
