Windows Vista... How do I set Yahoo! as my default email program?

I can still get through the old Windows XP way (Conrol Panel, Internet Options, Programs Tab, then click Set Programs... ) but I get to a certain point --- after I hit SET PROGRAMS and it's new and different and I've tried a few different things... and I'm lost.

Help?? I'm not a total idiot, but after 2 months of having Vista this is the only thing I cannot figure out and it IS kinda making me feel like an idiot because I can't figure it out...
Windows Vista... How do I set Yahoo! as my default email program?
Open Set Program Access and Computer Defaults by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Default Programs, and then clicking Set program access and computer defaults.鈥?Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Under Choose a configuration, click Custom.

Under Choose a default e鈥憁ail program, click the e鈥憁ail program you'd like to use, and then click OK.

Notes

* If you have more than one e鈥憁ail program installed, you can hide links to any unwanted programs that might appear on the Start menu, the taskbar, and your desktop by clearing the Enable access to this program check box.

* The first time you start them, some e鈥憁ail programs display a message asking you if you want to use that program as the default. If you choose to do so, this program will become your default e鈥憁ail program, even if you chose a different program using Set Program Access and Computer Defaults in Control Panel.
Reply:The above just won't work. I was with HP for over an hour about this one. There is no way but thru your ISP...at least that what he said and he was from Missouri. I;ve gone through this at least a dozen times....Microsoft, Non-Microsoft and Custom. If you click Custom you get nothing Report Abuse

Reply:After you click custom you don't get a choice of any other e-mail applications. Report Abuse
