i've got yahoo mail ,(which i think is web mail?!!) on a 'tab' on my yahoo home page but if i'm looking at something other than mail can i get notified when a new message comes in?
Does anyone know if yahoo have got their own email notification program ,if so where do i get it?
Sure, just download Yahoo messenger which you'll find on the yahoo home page. It'll make a whooshing sound and pop up a message when a new message comes in and you can configure it to collect mail from other email addresses too.
Reply:Yes you can get notication on the yahoo toolbar too. Looks like an envelope. But you might need to customize the toolbar to see it.
