Normally with most all Email clients when you click send %26amp; receive
it sucks the mail off the server unless you use advanced settings asking it to leave mail on the server.
Anyway I digress, the easiest way for you to get the lot is to download Mozilla Thunderbird, install, set up the pop3 and click send and receive.( don't import the settings from whatever you use in case it copies the advanced setting.)
OR try going to your providers site and into to your mail account and mark all the old mail as unread- then log out and see if your email client will now download them. (Untick leave messages on the sever from advanced settings)
