Composing an email.It locked.."program not responding" Can I save or retrieve data before ending program?

If it won't let you copy and paste, but you can still see the email on your screen, try the "print screen" button. (Should be near the top of your keyboard, usually need to hit Shift first). This will make an image copy of everything you see on your screen. Then open Word and hit Ctrl-V to paste it. You'll have to retype, but at least you'll know what you wrote.

Could at least try and copy the email text to the clipboard select all text and do control +c and then paste into another program such as word or notepad before closing your email program.
